We encourage you all to make the best decision about tonight for yourselves, & for everyone make sure to use caution on overpasses & leave plenty of extra time for travel. Thankfully the forecast is clear & the sun is strong, but we always advise sticking to personal safety measures & boundaries.

We just drove to the theatre & out to different parts of town to test the roads for ourselves, & things are looking great: We will be proceeding with our closing night tonight as scheduled!

We have <25 tickets left for our last performances of Hamlet at Sterling Stage in #AustinTX! Tomorrow (1/14) & 1/21! Come out & see an immersive, collaboratively directed production with some of the absolute best actors/humans in Central TX. Feel emotions! $10! tickets.atxtheatre.org/events/hamlet
a poster advertising Hamlet, showing the company name at the top (Walking Shadow Shakespeare Project), then an image of a smartphone with a cracked screen [with a secret skull shape!], a dead battery indicator [with a secret Danish flag!], and a crown cellphone charm. It shows the dates of the show (14th and 21st of January remaining), the time of the show (7:30pm), and the cost ($10.) It also shows that the event is at Sterling Stage Austin, and shows our website URL: https://www.walkingshadowshakespeare.com

Finally, at the bottom is the text "hamlet" stylized in lowercase - behind it is the ghostly image of HAMLET in all caps. Next to the title of the show is an image mark signifying this production is supported in part by the City of Austin Economic Development Department!

After the folks who braved Thursday's weather, Friday's packed house, & last night's sold out performance of Hamlet, we got *really* incredible feedback from our audiences. Tonight we're sold out again; 2 more opportunities to see a show audiences are LOVING: tickets.atxtheatre.org/events/hamlet
a screenshot of @japneetk13 and @_milxk_'s IG stories - that says "@wsshakes put on an absolutely phenomenal production of hamlet" with the little smiling face w/ tears in its eyes emoji. and then another caption that says "Peak cinema" with the mind-blown emoji. Japneet was here on vacation and decided to pop in and see what was up!This is a screenshot of a @wsshakes instagram post; it's of a picture of the Hamlet show poster designed by Cody Arn with a sticker that says "SOLD OUT (she's popular)".

The caption at the top says "Tonight an audience member none of us knew told us this is the single best adaptation of Hamlet he's ever seen. A moment like that is so surprising, overwhelming, and priceless. With this collaboratively directed experiment we built something that we are so proud of, and the fact that our work is translating to audiences is so special. Thank you to everyone who ahs to come see the show so far - we're sold out for Sunday, so make sure to get your 1/14 and 1/21 tickets!!"

"Hey is the schedule off, or are you actually doing three Tuesday night shows?" We are! We want to make sure everybody in the Austin area gets a chance to come out to see our production of Shakespeare's Hamlet! for tickets: tickets.atxtheatre.org/events/hamlet
An infographic for our production of Hamlet; it says:

Why Tuesday Night shows?

Part of our mission is to continuously question and challenge traditional theatre practices.

Weekend shows cater to M-F 9-5 work schedules, leaving fewer entertainment options for service workers, artists, and people on different schedules.

We're hoping our show schedule offers everyone the chance to catch a night that works best for them!

(Underneath that is our logo, a WS inside a badge/stamp, and the text of our Company name, "Walking Shadow Shakespeare Project"; next to that is the Austin Economic Development Department logo and mark)

Hamlet tickets are on sale! This immersive, small cast show is being collaboratively directed by the ensemble, in an exciting new experimental process we've been crafting just for this production! tickets.atxtheatre.org/events/hamlet #austin #shakespeare #theatre

Not just for #atx , but if we were your local #shakespeare theatre too, what would you want to see us produce? What’s missing from the Shaxworld that you’re hoping for? And especially for non-Austin folks, what digital offerings would you hope to have access to?
Blue wallpaper style background with the walking shadow logo up top and the questions: “what do you want to see us produce? Which Shakespeare plays? Shakespeare spinoffs? Workshop topics? Community events?”

We're hoping to raise enough money to buy a folding table, a real cash box, QR code donation box, a standing rack to display our merch... maybe even a chair or two for our FoH volunteers to sit on. Can you help us this year? www.walkingshadowshakespeare.com/donate.html?...

#GivingTuesday has come so fast, but to quote Billy Shakes himself, "if it be now, 'tis not to come." There are so many benefits to working at different parks, theatres, & found spaces across Austin for our shows, but we have to fit our ticket check-in & merch set up to those spaces.
it's the "change my mind" meme of a guy sitting at a table, but it's the head of our cartoon William Shakespeare, Billy Shakes, and the sign says "WE CAN'T AFFORD THIS MERCH SETUP, Change my mind." Highlighted are a real cash box, a donations box, and a merch stand we can collapse and take with us to all the places we do our shows.

Tony ruined my shot (jk I was too impatient to wait for him to sort out the backdrop) but LOOK HOW SICK the @walkingshadowshakespeare.com photobooth looked last night! SO much fun hanging out and hearing Hamlet's iconic "To Be..." monologue in so many different languages!
a picture of me from the Walking Shadow Shakespeare Project photobooth at our To Be or Not To Be event last night - I'm wearing my WSSP soccer jersey, and Tony's in the background futzin' around w/ the banner.
