Trying to look at when a random NetBSD reference page was created, and got the following message:

text reading: "If you are a human trying to look at the history, we are sorry:
we had to disable the feature since it ate too much resources. Stupid bots went and diffed every possible version against every other possible version of each file at least twice a day.

AI scrapers that do not even look at robots.txt are a blight upon the web and the people who do not care that they are breaking services for the common good wherever they find them are evil."

Still better to look at than AI code any day of the week. Also though for all I know they probably didn't have the | operator in lex back then. That's what I'll tell myself

Using narrow spaces is horrible because your code ends up looking like this. Use wide indents and you'll de-nest without even thinking about it :)

I think it's because they never really were able to support concurrency. It makes a lot of sense that they lost, even just given that, actually Also check out this graph I found in a 2024 presentation about proving sel4's correctness in multicore systems 😂
