I think about copyright a lot. It bothers me how much they have stolen and stunted our expression. We barely have access to movies that are talky. Imagine what kind of remixes we could do with things 50 year old.

When people leave comments on my shorts I almost always reply and the bullies are suddenly "hey man, I wasn't trying to be mean." But yeah. They were. Do they honestly think I will buy this? Do they think the people in their lives do too? "Just a misunderstanding, love your work." uh huh.

I'm not dissing the person using it, it's just a pattern I see. "you can get that from the json" "that's not in there" "it's under shipspeed%" "That is not a variable in the json" Then I don't hear anything back. They probably got a "you were right to push back on that" message.

A side effect of Ai search is that if it's mistaken about something (different from making it up) people will come to you over and over again with that wrong info. When I take the time to explain why their idea won't work I get back the same responses like I'm talking to the chatbot myself.
