@tubi I was watching a movie on Tubi, the first couple of advertisements were fine. The second break for ads showed a PAC ad that was full of lies and statements that have been disproven. So, if you’re going to allow this kind of disinformation on your ad network, I won’t be watching anything […]

I admire John Gruber. I think he’s a great writer. I think he’s smart as hell. He’s annoyingly funny, too. I am impressed and inspired by his success with both Daring Fireball and The Talk Show. I get excited when John links to one of my apps or articles.…

A ★★★★ review of Leviticus (2026)
Adrian Chiarella's first feature follows Naim and Ryan, two teenage boys in a small, religious Australian town. After a conversion-therapy ritual, an entity starts stalking them, and it takes the shape of the person each boy wants most: the other one. It's a brutal premise, and Chiarella handles it with real care. Joe Bird and Stacy Clausen are excellent. Their slow, awkward, tender connection feels real, so each time the entity shows up wearing a familiar face, it hurts as much as it scares. Mia Wasikowska is quietly chilling as Naim's mother, a reminder that the scariest people here are

There are T-storms in the area right now moving from West to East - withLightning and gusty winds, however NWS reports these are not severe, at least right now as of 2:00 PM. These should clear by 3PM - and there is low confidence that evening storms will develop or be severe. #mnwx

Home. Three flights, 27.5 hours door to door, one bag that traveled independently for part of the week, two margaritas, one flight deck tour, several UNESCO World Heritage sites, and one piece of salmon I will never fully forgive. Tbilisi was wonderful. Go if you get the chance. Pack a carry-on.

Margarita count for this trip: two. One in Tbilisi to celebrate my luggage arriving, one at DFW to celebrate being in the same country as my house. Chips and salsa at Pappasito's in Terminal C. The salmon feels very far away now. MSP next. Almost there.
