Violin students performing last May on the plaza outside Suntory Hall in Tokyo. These were very evidently beginners, as many of them had stickers on the fingerboard to mark finger positions, but I was shocked by how in tune and in unison they played as a group. Kodak Portra 160@200, Nikon F80.

One thing I don't like about film processing software is that the defaults are almost always way too contrasty. This is the same frame (Kodak Double-X, Canonet QL17) converted using FilmLab, left with default settings, right with my adjustments.
