Ko-fi sketch comm for @gabzjones.bsky.social of XL telling HC he's a good boy and HC being very emotional about it 🤧🤧 (This one was a bit of a struggle because of the angle but I think I got there in the end!!) Thank you!!! #KnifesArt

Messy sketch of Hua Cheng and Xie Lian. Xie Lian is sitting and Hua Cheng is leaning forward into Xie Lian's space, bracing himself on the seat next to Xie Lian with one arm. Xie Lian has a hand on the back of Hua Cheng's neck, tangled in his hair and he's looking lovingly into Hua Cheng's face with a slight smile on his own face while saying "...my good boy". Hua Cheng's expression is wrecked and in awe as he meets Xie Lian's gaze with tears in his eyes, his mouth hanging slightly open as he replies with "~gege...".

Ko-fi sketch comm for @daddy-camelot.bsky.social of "Buff XL flexing and HC ready to chew drywall" 😈😈😈 Thank you!!! This was so fun to do!!! ♥️ #KnifesArt

Messy sketch of two figures, Xie Lian in front from the thighs up, standing wearing sweatpants and a tank top. He's flexing with one hand on the back of his neck and his other hand is tugging up the hem of his tank top so that you can see his abs. His hair is in its normal half-up style and he's smirking a little at the viewer. Hua Cheng is curled behind him on his knees in the corner hitting the wall with his fist, butterflies fluttering around him, and his robes are tented in the front from his boner and whining "Gege... please ..."

wip wednesday :3 #hualian #tgcf the fic: archiveofourown.org/works/861135...

San Lang, my dear, gentle San Lang. You are too kind for your own good. You should despise this evil god who is plaguing your afterlife, who has died a hundred times and is still clinging to you, because all you've ever done was to make him feel alive. You are the scorching sun that could incinerate me with your fair judgement, with your justified wrath, yet the warmth you bathe me with, although excruciating, never truly burns. But… Why? Why do you treat me like this, as if it was not I who wronged you but the other way around?

self indulgently making this about hualian from my 'deflowering the mango tree' universe. Set between chapter 3 and 4 Hua Cheng can feel the precise moment Xie Lian loses consciousness and goes slack in his arms. He's unnaturally hot, uncomfortably so. He'll need a cold compress and some meds stat.

Hua Cheng completely transfixed and unresponsive while staring at the nape of Xie Lian’s neck (and the delicate silver chain that rests against the skin— oh how the knowledge that His Ashes are tucked under his God’s robes, warm and intimately protected, tortures and delights him)

a digital colored sketch of Hua Cheng and Xie Lian making out on a couch. Xie Lian is straddling Hua Cheng and has both hands tangled in his hair to pull him closer. Hua Cheng is propping himself up with one arm and resting the other on Xie Lian's ass. a line of drool is running down Hua Cheng's chin. Xie Lian's hair is up in a bun so we can all better appreciate his back and arms.

⚫🔴⚪ The Board is Set 🔴⚪️⚫️ I'm so excited to finally share the cover for my upcoming #hualian modern AU, "Corner is Gold, Side is Silver, Center is Grass"! Chapter One drops Friday, October 9th at 9:30PM EST. Art by @_neal_3000 on X/Insta, who absolutely outdid herself with this piece. #tgcf

Illustrated grey ink wash fanfic book cover depicting Xie Lian and Hua Cheng from Heaven Official's Blessing/TGCF leaning toward each other over a weiqi board.

On the left, Xie Lian has his hair styled in a loose bun, and he's wearing black slacks and a white, high-collared, ruffled shirt with lace cuffs; one hand is gently tugging a few strands of black hair.

On the right, Hua Cheng, with his hair down, is wearing a red dress shirt and black slacks.

They both smile faintly at one another, their lips meeting in an almost-kiss.

Both men's hands rest on the board that is strewn with red and white flower petals.

Xie Lian's hand touches a white stone while a red stone rests between Hua Cheng's hands.

The side of the table where the weiqi board sits is also strewn with red and white flower petals. On the right side lays a red flower.

The author name "Charis" is in the upper right hand corner, and the fic's title, "Corner is Gold, Side is Silver, Center is Grass" occupies the open middle space between the two men.

Art by @_neal_3000 on X/Insta.

Story summary card for the Hualian Modern AU Fic, "Corner is Gold, Side is Silver, Center is Grass," by Charis using the blurred cover art as a background.

The story is rated Explicit and is inspired by Hyperventilation.

Summary:

Meet Xie Lian. 26. Single. Chronic lung condition.
Now, he’s a professional Weiqi player, but back then, he was Class Three’s Biggest Loser.

And this loser has nursed an eight-year-long crush on Class Golden Child, Hua Cheng, who is now one of Xianle City’s most famous—or infamous—criminal defense attorneys.

In the wake of a championship game, Xie Lian receives an impromptu invitation to a class reunion. Believing this to be his one chance to finally show Class Three that he’s not the same sickly kid they remember, and maybe make that love connection he’s been longing for, Xie Lian is devastated when Hua Cheng arrives with a silver wedding ring on his finger.

But when an intimate conversation in the dark leads to a surprise kiss and a tempting proposition, Xie Lian, who has spent his life predicting outcomes and calculating risk on the weiqi board, thinks he knows exactly what kind of game he and Hua Cheng are playing.

He’s never been more wrong.

On the bottom is the release date for the first chapter: Friday, October 9th.

Before, there had still been slack to give; room to run; shadows of doubt to crawl into and hide. But this, Xie Lian wondered as he stared wide-eyed at where San Lang deliberately, slowly, intertwined their fingers--this was concrete, definitive, and undeniable. In many ways, it terrified him.

Still thinking about @maehwamei.bsky.social 's au concept where Xie Lian pre third ascension finds a little amnesic ghost king who turns out to be Hong er!? Must help him! #hualian #tgcf

New first third meeting! Hong-er has no idea what year it is but he just met his god again and he's very happy! Xie Lian is horrified that the child he thought he saved has been a ghost for 800 years lol.

"Your Highness!"

"Hong-er?!" (He's a ghost?!)

"You remember me?" (Best day EVER)

Little Hua Cheng trying on some clothes and asking for help.

"Guys don't be mean to the little ghost king!"

"Gege, can you help me fix the sleeve?"

"Of course!"

Feng Xin: HE'S CLEARLY PLOTTING TO KILL US!

Mu Qing: Never wanted to kick a child so bad in my life

Heavenly officials are looking for the very dangerous ghost king, but xie lian won't let them hurt him!
