I love it when predators are consequential. You can meet one, but you don't get to decide how it ends. Now that the door's open, it doesn't matter if the prey has cold feet. The pred is big and fast enough not to care. :3 Point of no return's already gone.

I know I have too many characters, but I'm tempted to make a fairy pred. Lorwyn-style with insect or plant features. Enters people's dreams and turns them into twisted fairy tales. He's the hungry villain. The big bad wolf, the mean dragon... :9 And then he's in your bed with a full little tummy.
