Sometimes I think about how Magical Girls could be used as a metaphor for predatory contracts on young child stars/idols. They promise you glamor but you end up going through training hell and saddle with tons of debt you have to pay off. Anyway, I can't wait for the next episode of #PPPIDWTBAMG

I saw it in stores. I damned myself for not having the funds before that brat Suzy got it. This isn't the first time I've been foiled by a 7 year old child!

I got a cat because I was convinced they were heartless loners. Apparently that was wrong and all three of my cats crowd around for cuddles when I need to work.

Just got through the first episode of Golden Axe and GODDAMMIT. I liked it. It's like a Disney Afternoon TV show but for a TV14 audience. Light-hearted, good animation, and a love letter to the games. Favorite part of the episode, Moggabog roundhouse kicking Gilius Thunderhead.

Had to reread your post again. It might be a sound. If possible, try standing outside and see if you can pick up a high pitch noise or warbling. Neighbors probably installed a new device that's using a ton of power.

My problem is how fragile a kit it can be. I built this last year and it's the only kit where parts are falling off or snapping from posing compared to the kits I've had 10+ years ago.

I take it as canon as the Halo novels are to the games. In that I don't care whether or not they're canon, I just like reading more cool stuff.

That or I'm too used to watching those Japanese Super Squadron Shows with the Giant Robots and Aliens wrestling (Godzilla, Power Rangers, Kamen Rider, etc). They're bulky, but they move like people but scaled up except for gravity. Growing 50ft doesn't make you immune to gravity!

That's why I don't like the idea of "the bigger something is the slower it moves". Something trying to move carefully and gingerly moves slow. Someone with elongated limbs can still punch fast! If it looks like it's moving slow, it's because you already saw it a mile coming away and can't dodge!

I imagine its the same when comparing large vehicles when you see them up close. The footage of large moving vehicles really doesn't do justice of how fast these things actually move. Like try running after a bus. It doesn't seem so fast until you actually have to chase the damn thing!
