Maybe that comes with age? I definitely learned to give less of a f*ck about other people's opinions the older I got, whether it comes to clothing, accessories, hobbies, being nerdy... Though I'm not always this confident and that's okay. Life is too short for that anyway. 😅

You should see me flunder at work having to explain something in English unexpectedly after having had lessons in schoolbfir 10 years (which admittedly was like 16 years ago but still). My point is: Nobody's perfect, German is hard, you're trying your best which is amazing and you can do it. 😌

Hey, you're making an effort to learn a difficult language and I always appreciate people who try to communicate with me in German at work no matter how well they're speaking it. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who sees it that way.

I feel you so much on not wanting to hear your recorded voice played back at you, especially speaking a foreign language. For me, recording YouTube videos of my writings sort of helped to get used to it, but it took some time and I'm afraid I've lost the ability to tolerate it by now again. 🙈

I'm impressed by the unobtrusiveness of the watermark and the R and B are clearly readable. I'm often wondering if I should add this kind of watermark to my pieces and usually settle for signing it as close to the subject as possible or in some corner on them if there is not much going on. 😅

QRP with your shitty sketches! I know I’m late to the party, but I picked up the pen only recently again. They’re probably not even shitty sketches, since I have to get back into the game again and I’m giving the Loomis method another shot after ditching it 2 years ago, so… eh. 🤷🏼

One and three of the head sketches are marking progress! The second one is… special.

That head angle… the hair… Why? Why must the picture in my head have this stupid angle and why must he have such a stupid hair cut? 😭
