The research identified two models of RP: 1️⃣ As a service promoting inclusion within mainstream classrooms 2️⃣ As a space for specialised provision I will argue for prioritising RP as an inclusive service, recognising that flexibility between the two can support a realistic approach to inclusion.

I'm also grateful I highlighted the need for research on parents’ challenges to find appropriate provision. Parents of children with SEND have expressed, through their complaints and appeals, that there is a SEND crisis & research needs to address these issues and work towards solutions with them.
