Yeah, I knew it was Game 1s but Games 1 will NOT get out of my head, it's terrible

Would run through a wall for A'ja Wilson

Also true! I generally had less faith in New York, and more faith in Olivia and Phee, despite how they ended the regular season. Game 2 is going to be fun

I was walking into a grocery store when I saw the first time they were up in Q1 lmao

Did not have NY Liberty up 19 points on Minnesota Lynx in Game 1 of the 2026 WNBA playoffs on my bingo card.

This might be the race to listen solely to the Red Bull radio the whole way through, yes? 👀 #AzerbaijanGP

My brother made me videocall the game to him, he hung up a few minutes ago but I'm locked in now.

Not featured here: the volume of a household in India starting its morning, while bro yells plays at me, while I try to listen to the broadcast to send him updates.

Photo of a phone showing the game playing on screen, while propped on a series of sports books, in a dimly lit living room.

Discovered my brother is an apparent college football sicko: He has me videocalling the Northwestern-Indiana game to him. (Does that make me a college football sicko, too?)

Tried something new over in the women's recruiting space, aka, our recruiting experts eat a bit of crow with the class of 2024 rankings, aka hindsight is 20/20, etc.: www.espn.com/womens-colle...

If the Lynx win Thursday at home in a rematch vs. the Fever, they'll earn the No. 1 seed. Minnesota can lose and still earn the No. 1 seed but only if Golden State drops either of its remaining two games (tonight at Portland, Thursday at LA)

It feels odd to refer to the Pac-12 as a mid-major, but here we are, looking at the non-high major teams that could be big storylines this season -- for better or for worse. www.espn.com/mens-college...

Luke and his side of the office took our half-baked idea and absolutely ran with it. A marvel of visuals, animations -- and patience! -- to showcase this amazing league. (Also, my name is finally on something, meaning my mother will actually read it now.)

The Manning moment is small, in the scheme of all the things happening in this god forsaken time. But let's be clear -- this is not a product of this time. The AI aspect, yes. But men in sports, especially football, being shitty about and to women? Male journalists joining in? Old shit.

Sent it to the family group that includes the new BIL, who I don't think has fully processed just how obsessed we are with Costco. Gonna get interesting
