Some of my most anticipated games for this month!! Witch of the Dark Castle (already out!), Detective Grimoire & The Mermaid Mask, Village in the Shade, and D-TOPIA! Go wishlist/get these right now, some are even on sale or have demos, worth a look I swear. 😉

I cannot explain how excited I am for Wildwood. It is going to single-handedly get me through 2026. Laika’s movies have always been an inspiration or me- Paranorman is one of my top ten of all time. The sneak peek makes me want to break out my old DIY stopmotion rigs and shoot some stuff. 🎥🎬

I did buy Hades 2, Dragon Quest 1-2 remake, Yooka-Replaylee, Iwakura Aria, Mistonia’s Hope, Atelier Resleriana, Date Everything, Dispatch, and Digimon Story Time Stranger, but haven’t gotten far enough in any of them to recommend (besides Digimon, that’s A+ even only 10hrs in). Maybe this year!

Didn’t play many new releases in 2025, but these are some of my favorites! The Hundred Line, The Roottrees are Dead, Two Point Museum, Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (remake), Octopath Traveler 0, and Foolish Mortals.

More lunch break books!! This week it @bethhetland.bsky.social’s “Tender” and @jamesthefourth.bsky.social’s “The Deviant” (v1). Had to read these with my back to the wall, but loved them!! The pacing of Tender was delightfully unsettling and The Deviant was a bloody treat. Two thumbs up!! 👍

Just finished @kyledhiggins.bsky.social’s Moon Man (v1) and @remender.bsky.social’s The Holy Roller! Both are pretty topical, and are about as subtle as a brick to the face (but unfortunately read no less true). Great books! I think I prefer the readability of Roland Boschi’s pencils for Roller tho.

Reading some great graphic novels during my lunch breaks! These two seem appropriate for the season: @patrickhorvath.bsky.social’s Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees & @paigumondus.bsky.social’s The Confessional. Highly recommended.

Behold, my prettiest Rook 🥰 pic is from my Crow playthrough, but I use the same face/body for my canon Emmrich Mourn Watcher romance run.

Reading IDW Sonic. The metal virus saga is soooo good. The pacing, the stakes, the drama. Also, surprisingly funny?? Love u Omega.

I know Takeshi Koike’s Lupinverse is devisive and is mostly bad but I’m fully two cakes about anything he puts out because the man can direct an action scene and I have low Lupin standards

Dra-Q may be one of my favorite manga reads of year so far. Funny, bloody, and actually pretty sweet. I hope these crazy kids can make it work. 🧛🏻‍♀️🩸🐺

Got my tickets to “The Day the Earth Blew Up” and you should too. Put your money where your mouth is and financially support one of the only big-studio 2D films coming out any time soon.
