Juuuuust finished a replay of Control in time for Resonant physical to come out next week. I’ve managed to stay like, 100% blind about the sequel and CANNOT WAIT. I picked up Hellraiser Revival to pass the time this weekend, and plan to finish up Over Requiemz’s dark routes. 😈 💦

Tbh, Fortune’s Weave opening hours are awful. The rest of the game is great, but I can totally understand the barrage of tutorials and proper nouns you have to sit through until the hand holding stops being a deal breaker (or a put-it-down-and-forget-about-it-for-six-months-er).

Finished the latest Detective Grimoire game: The Mermaid Mask! Its absolutely jaw-dropping production value, show-stopper ending, and phenomenal voice acting have me in total awe. A gripping mystery story with so much heart and humor…please buy it! No previous game knowledge required!

Just finished The Sinking City 2 demo!!! Really loved it and will be getting the full release in August, probably on PS5 despite my PC handling the game just fine. I enjoyed the characterization of the MC so far, but sad to see the investigation stuff toned down. Can’t wait to play it in full! 🦑 👻

Both are pretty topical, and are about as subtle as a brick to the face (but unfortunately read no less true). Great books! I think I prefer the readability of Roland Boschi’s pencils for Roller tho.

In my serious effort this year to eat a min 80/20 (goal 90/10) whole foods to ultra processed diet, I gotta say a bowl of like 170g greek yogurt (nonfat no added sugar) + two kiwis beats out any sort of ice cream/cookie/sweet treat in my book. Add in a bit of peanut powder and a sliced apple? 😋👌

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is…interesting. Seen some people call it “Jujutsu Boruto” which I think is an unfair. It’s only been one chapter! The alien angle is certainly a hook, but I’m not so sure about the leads. They’re a bit paint-by-numbers for my taste, but I’ll give them a chance to woo me.

Just saw Superman!!! Had a wonderful time. So refreshing to have a hero who, ya know, is just here to help the average person. It’s an optimistic movie with a ton of humor and much needed sincerity. Highly recommend, loved the whole cast, but especially Hoult as Lex, and Gathegi as Mr. Terrific.
