Average middle-aged man from middle of the EU. Quite uninteresting and grumpy... but statisticians need me when looking for outliers. #MiddleEU

AI apps ranked by how much consumers pay them. Do you know how many European companies are there in TOP 50? . . . . . . Aproxx 10, that is 20 %. Is it lot? Is it not enough? What do you think? For me, it's fine. Doesn't seem to me like Europe is lost. Credit: Andreessen Horowitz

Sánchez election gamble > hopes he gain something from housing crisis ("we want it to pass") > but is it enough to cover Ceuta chaos? > is he expecting to deport all Ceuta migrants before election and present it as victory? > I think he knows he doesn't win but is better for him than wait for 2027

Latvia election results? Good or bad? > strong pro-EU majority > stability > center-left weakened > far-right strengtened

That French guy - Glucksmann - how serious is he? Could he be the one that beats Le Pen? He gains steadily in polls, while Philippe/Attal are falling. Any French politics enthusiasts here? Pros/Cons: + not representing government + may steal from Melenchon - too elitist? - too late for a new star?

Do you also look forward to Merz's "Keir Starmer" moment?

My Godness... I would understand if some EU capitals are worried because the associate member status of Canada can somehow create competition for domestic firms. But if the problem is really "what if we anger Trump?", I call EUobserver to publicly name these cowards so I can scare them personally.

Member States EU Ambasadors didn't have the term "associate member" in their version of speech they got a day before and now they are all trying to figure out what that could mean. One way of achieving something is to set a term everyone has deal with. Well played, VDL... Source: Politico #SOTEU

Identity check at W is horrible. I really hope you'll make it better. I understand the preference but waiting a whole day for verification to finish is not something that makes people love this app.
