The App Store is full of great film-simulation camera apps, but those kinds of apps on Android are sketchy garbage that take bad photos. Not Candela Camera though! It properly uses the Android camera API with high quality film simulation, built-in & imported LUTs, and it's $5 for a lifetime license!

It tries to be cute, makes it cartoony, adds a shitty caption you didn't ask for, fakes transparency with a broken checkerboard pattern, and to top it all off, there's no way to actually add the sticker to Gboard 💀 this is insanity. Let us make stickers in Gboard again please 😭

It is a "digital drawing" version of the original image with the caption "'YOU ARE A MESS!' OR 'GET YOUR LIFE!'". Seemingly Gemini couldn't pick between either caption, so it put both. The image doesn't actually have a transparent background. Instead, it poorly mimics the usual checkerboard pattern used to represent transparency. The checkerboard pattern is broken and inconsistent.

YOU CAN'T MAKE STICKERS IN GBOARD ANYMORE. They replaced the + button with a "create images in Gemini" button that opens the Gemini app and that's it. No template or premade prompt. If you upload an image and say "make a sticker"...

Android 16 QPR1 and Material 3 Expressive looks great but it's full of bugs that just weren't there before. The media controls in the quick settings panel are unusable 😭

I HATE the geico app so much 😭 I didn't even drive to work today. I took the train. And I can't delete their app without raising my premium. This should be illegal.

The girls on #rpdr are SO MAD Suzie's on top like she doesn't deserve to be there... Suzie has so much confidence, executes her ideas well, and sells her look every single time. Am I the only person who kind of likes the card design for Project K? Like if this was the end product I'd be disappointed but I think it's 80% of the way there. I like the simplicity and sharp angles & lines. It just needs less white and I need to see what the foils look like. #leagueoflegends #tcg
