i’ve developed a real hatred for the constant cell phone notification dings/ringtones in virtually every show/movie set in the present day. i turn all that shit off on my own phone, only to get assaulted with it when i try to chill out and watch something. it's awful.

i just put up an album of guitar improvisations heavy on asynchronous looping and slowly evolving clouds of sound. enjoy! (or dont! 🤣) christophertrull.bandcamp.com/album/frown-...

Serious question: What's stopping the State of Illinois from arresting Stephen Miller & charging him with incitement? The Senate didn't confirm him. He's just a guy. At some point, the states MUST use their authority to prosecute, because the federal government certainly will not.

Bands should never, ever share footage of themselves in the recording studio control room tracking “heavy” music while they’re chilling in an ergonomic desk chair, wearing shorts and flip-flops. It totally kills the mystery

some local pals playing country punk with angular guitar weirdness sprinkled throughout - definitely evokes Meat Puppets vibes at times. americanbeautifulness.bandcamp.com/album/normal...

Two recent albums I'm enjoying: outofyourheadrecords.bandcamp.com/album/waterf... and newfocusrecordings.bandcamp.com/album/hemloc... Recommended if you like some weirdo jazz in your modern compositions, and vice versa.
