Only saying the positive things can actively hide a person’s real values. It's a form of harmful positivity, because they get to smuggle in all kinds of things with their "kindness". A person can say “I like women” but still think women shouldn’t have a vote, equal pay, or bodily autonomy. 4/7

Unnecessary means not needed. Hate on immigrants is unnecessary. Hate on trans people is unnecessary. Hate on Palestinian civilians is unnecessary. Hate and speaking out against tyrants, abusers, rapists, fascists, murderers, and other pieces of trash actively hurting others is entirely necessary.
