sometimes i rly just need to read another writer's fics bc seeing characters interact w eo in other ppl's fics is so refreshing. or seeing the plot bloom in a different way shakes me out of my comfort zone in a way. always working on my own fics feels so monotone after a while. i read 2 fics today

“Was I?”

“Yes, of course, you were.”

“So, what are you doing now?” Yoongi takes a step closer to him, his chest almost touching Hoseok’s arms. “Chasing after me so you can gain back some of your self-respect?”

“In a way,” Hoseok replies as nonchalantly as he can manage.

In which, during a particularly tough winter, prince Hoseok is mandated to stay in his palace while the king goes touring the kingdom to help the troops with the snow storms and bad weather, and guard Yoongi must guarantee that Hoseok stays safe. Cue a lot of boring days at the palace, where secrets are uncovered and confessions are made.

As soon as Hoseok nods, Yoongi gently takes his wrist, positions his arm to be on top of the table, and pushes his sleeve down just enough to expose where his scent gland would be on his wrist.

His wolf perks up the second his nose touches the delicate inside part of Hoseok’s wrist.
