🌿;; Burrich and Fitz I'm so happy for with how this turned out 😭😭 #rote #digitalart #art #therealmoftheelderlings

It's an illustration of Fitz and Burrich, characters from the Realm of the Elderlings by Robin Hobb. Burrich is sitting in the shade with Vixen (his dog), they are looking at Fitz and Nosy play with a sword. In the background their horses, Rudy and Sooty, are grazing.

after everything we’ve seen of gabrielle…. this is restoring my hope of them exploring gabrielle’s gender and that awful wig and push up bra being “human” disguise.. or perhaps a way to make lestat feel better by appearing more feminine! like his mother momager

posting this rant here too bc it must be said

honestly as a lesbian and f/f enjoyer i wish ppl would stop treating shipping f/f as like. something you are a superior #feminist for only because it results in such a weird attitude around it. like i want people to care abt f/f because they are genuinely compelled by interpersonal dynamics and chemistry between characters and not just as moral posturing or even as a 'well since these het relationships are bad lets throw them into a wholesome chungus relationship where theyre so good for each other and that will solve aaaaaaaall the misogyny problems' like idk many such cases where the f/f thats messy and where they treat each other badly is also the f/f where characters are most respected and written as realistic and complete people. like why do only men get to be tragic and toxic and women just have to be niceys and fix each other. which is to say if u dont care about f/f its fine! genuinely! you dont have to! id rather have the niche be taken up by ppl who are in it for the actual love of the game instead of having it be treated as a chore or as an easy fix to any writing problems without any additional in depth thought on the matter

beefleaf yuri I drew for mermay in 2024 🐟 #art #tgcf

Illustration of Shi Qingxuan and He Xuan from Heaven Official's Blessing. They're both depicted as women, SQX is wearing an off-white and green hanfu, HX is wearing a ripped top decorated with shells and pearls, her lower half resembles an eel. They're at a beach, SQX is standing on a rock, while HX is towering over her. Their fingers are intertwined, HX is grabbing SQX chin with her free hand and grinning.

closeup of the same art, focusing on the characters

"If you insist we must both take different names now, then I shall call you Beloved. And whenever I call you that, you may call me Fool." He simpered a lovesick smile. "Good night, Beloved. We have been apart far too long."
