Folks need to understand this. Pornhub is absolutely in the right here. They are blocking states who require this because they don't want to be responsible for your PI data! They do not NEED that info to provide their service, so collecting and maintaining it is inherently privacy violating!

Exactly what she said: transness is a thing you do in the world, not something you simply are! Cisheteronormativity is a regime we are all disciplined into, and to do transness (& queerness) is to go against that regime at least on some level—socially, medically, sexually, communally, etc.etc.!!

Obviously trans people are the targets of anti-trans bills and many cis people see collateral cis damage of these bills as worse than our suffering, but our reaction to cis people relating can be a chance to build solidarity instead of show disdain. Seeing our struggles as inextricable is good.
