This looks pretty cool – a face-to-face videogame console that mixes board game play with videogame interactivity. board.fun

A group of trendy adults in sat amongst some bright interior design in even brighter clothing playing with their Board (which looks like a massive iPad)

And here's the tracklist! A mix of modern downtempo, turn-of-the-century "IDM" and some other bits and pieces. The kind of stuff I put on on an evening to help me decompress.

I have a show on lovewillsavetheday.fm this Sunday, 8–9PM, as part of their Open Air weekend. I'll be playing a mix of downtempo, IDM, dubby stuff and a few other related bits. Experimental, textural music to decompress to.

FINALLY got round to reading/devouring @coseyfannitutti.bsky.social’s autobiography. What a life. What an artist. What an inspiration. I’m off to go make something.

In related news, the fact that I seem to have now started a tape collection makes me very concernedformywallet.

Neighbour sent me a photo of a sheep playing football in our back garden. Wondering if there’s a better sheep-based football pun to be made than Demba Baa.

Photo of a sheep stood next to a football in a back garden, taken from the back window of the house next door. In the foreground is the house’s back extension and garden, and in the background is a large field.

This past weekend I was at my friend’s stag do, where we rented a manor house and threw him his own festival. We all took on DJ names (mine was Brian Emo) and did sets, and we designed merch, including this slipmat that I’m very proud of.

Big fan of the new Veikkausliga (Finnish football league) identity, and the custom typeface inspired by the folding and movement of football scarves. Especially with how club colours can be applied to it. More weird type like this in branding, please. www.itsnicethat.com/articles/bon...

Found one of these on the end of some random residential street in Redcar once! They’re fascinating.

A mate of mine recently said he didn’t get Aphex Twin or the fandom around him so I’m gonna hit him over the head with this @discopogo.bsky.social book

A copy of Disco Pogo’s “Aphex Twin: A Disco Pogo tribute”, a book collecting articles about Aphex Twin from Jockey Slut alongside newer content.

Every Wednesday at 1pm I run an informal check-in session for remote-working freelancers who otherwise don't have other creative-industry folk to speak to. If you'd like to join us this week, here's the link: lu.ma/hpmw3ofg

And when I find the time, I love getting stuck into doing visuals for music. I've done album covers for the likes of David Toop and Pan•American, as well as a few techno artists, and a bunch of gig/party flyers. I'd love to do more of this stuff, if any musicians see this 👀

Some of you may also know me from some of my older projects: ShellsuitZombie was a collective of creative graduates that ran events, an active blog and a printed magazine aiming to help other grads land jobs. With You was a tribute zine to late Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington.

Intro post! Hi, I'm Alex, a graphic designer based just south of Manchester. I'm a bit of an all-rounder; working across brand, digital, print, web and moving image. I feel most at home with briefs that let me come up with a cool idea *and* execute it.

The other new project is something I'm trying a new approach with. It's a work-in-progress branding project (or maybe call it branding-in-public?) for a football club. Here's how it's looking: alexvissaridis.work/Bridlington-...

Is this a good place to share design work yet? I've just updated my portfolio for the first time in ages with two new projects. First one is some animation work for Jitty, an AI-powered property portal: alexvissaridis.work/Jitty
