BG2, DAO, Wrath of the Righteous... I understand they all have a good story but I simply hate this style of combat. I prefer when it goes full on turn based (BG3/Persona) or full on action (DAV/FF16). FF7R is somewhere in between but importantly movement and attacking is action style not clicking.

Just tried playing Baldur's Gate 2, and I finally understand why DAO combat is the way it is. I can now also say with confidence that I absolutely despise this pseudo real time, "strategic" combat style. I don't think I will end up finishing either 🙃

Finally read Absolute Superman #1&2. Can’t believe I didn’t see people talking about it. They took immigrant alien to an even greater extreme where both his parents are at the bottom of a Kryptonian caste system and he has spent his whole time on Earth liberating the Global South.

The unfortunate answer is people who like AI view artistic value as how much they like to look at it. “Process” is not a factor in how much they like a work, and so process is not an aspect they care about when they use AI.
