My #MTGLegacy luke-warm take: I think Flow State is just fine in a world without Tamiyo + Bilbo. Decks having access to all three is some shit.

For sure the exact mechanical question is weird. My first read was +1 color identity, but if your read is right that is odd. I do think that a "1.5" color identity is kinda cool

I played the One Piece TCG for a bit and it's resource system, a mana deck was really interesting. Each turn added 2 "mana", but the player going first got 1 to start rather than 2. Curving out was odd/even depending on play/draw. I really liked that system for what it was.

Increasing the paper share of decklists is a good idea. Doing that by decreasing mtgo decklists is the wrong thing. Maybe all this push back leads to even more paper lists posted or more paper events to post!

Paper only players really have a hard time grasping just what MTGO data means and just how much worse the average paper player is versus anyone who grinds MTGO. One of the most eye opening, level up moments you can have as a player is starting to grind online instead of locals.

Somewhat happy about the Legacy changes, a little surprised they failed to mention Taimyo or The One Ring at all. But I am extremely disappointed in the PFP for banning the 11th most-played deck on MTG Goldfish with a bad win rate because some midrange players cried enough.

if I was at wotc and needed to start the meeting for legacy bnr, this is how I'd start discussion there 1) Ban Tamiyo 2) Maybe ban Reanimate or Entomb 3) Ban Planar Nexus or The One Ring 4) Maybe ban Nadu 5) Talk about Oops, and see if things break without usea holding it down
