I’m no teetotaller. There are some really messy away days in among those thousand+. But they’d have been messier and far less enjoyable for me, my mates and crucially anyone unfortunate enough to be sat or stood near us in the ground if we’d not had a 90 minute drinking break enforced on us.

If he was coming to the end of his career then fine. But he’s 28, It and this feels like the move of a player who’s 33 or 34, and just makes us sad, really. Same way any player in their prime going to the Saudi league does.

Molyneux has been an undeniably great player for #DRFC, and we broadly wish him well, but this is a disappointing move. We’ll never begrudge a player moving upwards or seeking to challenge themselves. But this isn’t either of those things.
