Since Max G has become a current topic, I just wanna point out the time he drew my teen PPG designs. This was during a period on Twitter where a drawing of mine became a subject of controversy, and it was nice seeing a big artist like him stick up for me in a way.

My contribution to this

Pixelated sprites of Blossom from The Powerpuff Girls in the style of the 8-bit NES Mega Man games. On the left is my own take on her in the style, following the actual quirks of the series' sprite style and NES palette. On the right is the version from the original sheet this collab is centered around, where she is an edited version of Roll. The background is the entering stage screen from Mega Man 2, albeit edited to have a reddish tone. Text below the two sprites reads "Blossom", much like how it shows the Robot Master's name when you select them.

shape language #ppg #powerpuffgirls

An image showcasing the shapes used to construct my adult versions of the Powerpuff Girls.

From left to right:
"Blossom's upper torso is constructed using a rectangle to make her appear thinner than her sisters. She's a nerd so I thought it'd make sense to make her slimmer than the other two."

"Bubbles is constructed out of circles to represent her softer and jolly personality. Also helps her namesake is that of a spherical object."

"Buttercup's upper torso is constructed using a trapezoid to make her appear more muscular/beefier than sisters, which helps convey her tougher personality."
