I have a third perty version printed for my Abyssinian warband that's basically this but like a hyena werewolf thing. It's rad as hell and I can't wait to paint it.

It is incredibly funny to me that medieval European artists didn't know what historic cultures looked like so they just painted historic and biblical scenes to look contemporary. This painting is supposed to depict the fall of Jericho but it looks like they're in a rural French village.

The very first black metal EP I ever heard was in a dumpy dorm room at my JuCo in rural Oklahoma. Friends were smoking weed and we were watching YouTube videos and they played it for me. Still easily some of my favorite tracks of any genre of all time.

So this weekend I'm playing in the first Trench Crusade event at the largest wargames tournament in the state. Organizers decided to go with a short campaign rather than a tournament format (which I love) and my ghosts are kicking absolute ass. Currently 2-0-1 and tied for first in VP

Finally worked up the motivation to get back to painting my stosstruppen warband for Trench Crusade. Decided to go big and get my lieutenant knocked out. Meet Herr Hauptmann Hans Freiherr von Meusebach of the 48th Gardekorps of Brandeburg, and his best bro Abu Nasiri (Moussa to his friends)
