My recent experiences with science in general have led me to think that the amount of reductionism you do reflects your calibre. No one cares about the bigger picture or the story, but rather the molecular details.

So proud to share our latest publication @CellCellPress! Yue Rui reveals that the same enzyme that makes the wall, cellulose synthase complex (CESA), also tethers the plasma membrane to the wall during water-deficit stress, providing resilience. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

How do different clonal layers interact to make a leaf flat? How do they integrate genetic and mechanical cues to achieve this remarkable feat? That is precisely what we answered through our work! Special thanks to all contributors! www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...

On growth and flow: hydraulic aspects of aboveground meristems
Water is essential for plant growth under both normal and stress conditions. Aboveground, two key meristems control plant development: the shoot apical meristem and the vascular cambium. Here, stem c...

Anomalies often result in meaningful identities. Stochastic diffusion of proteins is necessary for identity in leaves. However, when the diffusion is stopped, it affects the identity of the leaf.
