Hooray for hunan artists! Sorry it took me a while to get around to responding, but here's some dip pen and inkwash #traditionalart . I don't get as much time to do physical media as much as I'd like, these days, but hopefully that can be addressed!

My dog too is both concerned by and excited by the implications of getting on a train. We are gradually leaning towards excitement, though.
A small brown and white dog doing a worry-smile on a train. Despite concerns, he is sat contently next to his ginger-bearded human, with his favourite elephant and water bottle on standby. Shortly after this picture was taken, he had a happy little sleep for the rest of the journey

I've only recently got back into drawing after accidentally getting distracted at an office job for 20 years. Oops! I do both traditional and digital work, which is often midly horror and/or punny. I'm currently attempting to channel my efforts into bringing a body horror comic to life.

How this horror comic was made.
Photograph taken in a home office. On the left side is a desk mostly covered by a graphics tablet, with the screen over-exposed so you can't see what is being drawn. Directly above that is a microphone glowing red to show it is recording, with a facehugger plush and a miniature beanie baby hanging from it. Behind that is a switched-off laptop, and above the laptop is a wall-mounted monitor, also over-exposed. Across the centre and right of the photo is a white man with ginger hair and beard, wearing glasses and large black headphones, sitting on a computer chair and drawing on the graphics tablet with his right hand. His left arm is resting on the arm of the computer chair. Right in the centre of the image is the brown-and-white face of a small dog who is looking directly into the camera. His chin is resting on the man's arm, and underneath the chair arm his white front legs are visible ‐ the left pointing straight down, and the right curled up on the man's left leg.

Last week, I released my first ever comic into the wild; a body horror story, ostensibly about getting older, based on my own experiences. It starts out with relatable things like sore backs and skin conditions, but escalates into much messier territory. You can read it now, on @globalcomix.com
