well my plan to make a small discord server for people who enjoy the music stuff that i do is currently getting blown up in slow motion. i’ll have to figure out something else to do for that

Virtual Vice @virtualvice.live · 20/09/2025

i'm gonna post audio to soundcloud and mixcloud within the next day or so and i'll link those when they're up as well if you're more into that

if all I do is scream and slam my anger into an instrument and crank every dial and let myself be driven by rage to leave a gash where a piece of music should be, then I'll at least have left my mark on the world

000

Virtual Vice @virtualvice.live · 02/04/2025

I still don't really know what my "sound" is but I think I'm realizing that when I make music I need to do less thinking about the process and mechanics and technicalities and more directly channeling my strongest emotions when I create

Virtual Vice @virtualvice.live · 22/03/2025

Thanks to everybody who showed up to my set tonight, donated to charity, and had a good time with the music 💖 I've tried some new styles I've been wanting to do for so long, I had a blast and I hope you did too!!

It's actually kinda sad that Muadeep said this is an "end of an era" album because I won't hesitate to call this a definitive halftime dnb album in a niche subgenre sorely lacking in definition. expect to hear cuts from this next week for sure

Virtual Vice @virtualvice.live · 13/03/2025

This one?? THIS one???? THIS is gonna be the bass music album to beat this year. Seventeen tracks on the record and not a single one of them is a miss album.link/i/1791799877

I'm talking pretty casual for the most part, like "fucking around on my decks" level of casual, just a chance to be social while also practicing or developing, with occasional planned events and stuff if it turns out well down the road?

Virtual Vice @virtualvice.live · 25/02/2025

okay i have a question for you, it's very important for the next month or so of my work: if I made a twitch acct and used it for streaming DJ mixes and/or music production projects, would you be interested in watching?

my keyboard lasted almost 9 years before dying last week, so I got this cool keyboard to replace it :3

A poster for "VIRTUAL VICE DRUM AND BASS DJ SET @ FURTHER CONFUSION 2025 DEAD DOG DANCE MONDAY 1/20 MARRIOTT STAGE 10PM" sits in a photo editor, unfinished, on a computer screen that is wide. Below the screen, on the desk, sits an 8bitdo retro mechanical keyboard and keypad, both styled after a Famicom, and also the poster is a work in progress so it's unfinished it's not done yet

Me in November: man I really don't know about this remix, the drums just feel so dumb compared to the original Mefjus, 10 years ago, making a generational banger by hitting a kick and open snare on 1 and 4 exclusively for 64 bars:

I think there should be more end of year lists about Things That Came Out This Year That I Wasn't Huge On At First But Then Really Grew On Me, like my personal 2024 winner in the category, the Enei remix of Suicide Bassline
