A reminder most of the hate that was being flung was by outrage tourists not RE fans, yes RE has some toxic fans but outside the trailer not looking resident evil (how it was edited looked like supernatural horror now body horror) I was at the theaters on release so were many fans we enjoyed it

Yes I saw the new resident evil, and yes like welcome to racoon city its good, granted the monsters at times feel like they are from different games. The trailer was badly edited, that is why it felt more like silent hill than RE, but if you remember to treat it as its own thing its good, scared me
