VioletSun @violetsun.bsky.social · 10hBut in searching I got looking at other vehicles with the extra armour kit... it appears both Mark Bedford and Paul Sawyer did a mod to theirs. Chopping down the end pieces to make them more sleek to match the track units. Which looks neat! Wonder how many other people have noticed over the years. 1504

I'd guessed the Predator Destructor. Which turned out to be correct, managed to dig up these two photos of them. (thanks to @metzopaino.bsky.social for the help) 1251

I instantly knew they were the Rhino Ablative Armour set (In production about '02-'04-ish). I helped out with the ID but it didn't end there. 2391

VioletSun @violetsun.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Looks like they might be stripped out which is a real pain. There are a few different types of security fasteners with this kind of pin in the middle. Usually a set of bits will have most if not all of them in. You might be able to get them out by using pliers to grip the outside of the heads. 110

Hard to see exactly what shape security bit they are from that photo, if you can get a clearer photo of the bolt heads I can probably help more. 110

I've previously been running an Annihilator, for helping out with killing tanks, and sniping out terminators. Magna-melta and flamers is also fun, just drive it up the middle of the table, can't be ignored. 110

Right now all that material is one place and somewhat sealed. If you blow it up it ends up spread all over the place and compromising any containment you've got. 010
