I haven't drawn in so long... Ya'll. I just wanna be free of this dayjob already but I've got two weeks. And then I wanna get the last commissions I've got finished and then RELAX.

What in the world is this HORRENDOUS typography?!

030

Violet Spectrum @violetspectrum.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I made more progress on that commission!!

020

Violet Spectrum @violetspectrum.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Making progress on those commissions, still! I feel like I could add something to the filigree on the bottom, but I'll poke at it another time!

Caine from Digital Circus is LITERALLY SO FUN TO DRAW! The expressions you can get out of eyes in teeth is so mind-boggling to me. What a cool design~ I've got a Zooble in here, too, as well as more Bronte cats and a tiny still life study.

Funny little stream doodles from the other week!

Finally started that Frieren meme. And now it's turning into a fuller illustration!

I keep running into the dilemma that I really need to learn Javascript, C#, and maybe Python, too, if I wanna be more self sufficient with streaming. I started with Javascript but instead, I started learning basic programming, instead. Best decision ever. Oh! And I am journaling it, too.

A double spread of a journal full of notes and musings regarding programming. The three papermate flare pens used to write in the journal can be seen in the corner of the image.

Getting myself back into arting by studying funny shapes and then seeing where those shapes take me!

A few abstract shakes alongside shaded animal drawings. One is a capybara face, one is a round bunby, one is a weird pig-like rodent thing, one is a bovine of some kind, and one is a jackrabbit with a really freaky stare.

Waking up to this absolute baby face this morning.

A black and white cat with big perky ears stares right into your soul in hopes for food.

THIRD PASS IS HERE!! Tell me what you are feeling!! What do you like, what PARTS of these do you like?

Title reads: Bronte Cadell, Travel Outfit, Third Pass. A row of 5 designs featuring my elven male character, Bronte, in similar attire to narrow down an outfit design. They are labeled 1B thru 5b. The next section features Bronte in a turtleneck undershirt with a label calling that out--he is looking up at the camera with a cute and peppy expression. A second image of Bronte wearing a leather vest from design 3B over the sleevess turtleneck shirt from the previous sketch. Above it is the question, "Vest plus undershirt; do we like this combo?"

The next sketch features Bronte lifting the piece of fabric of his belt to reveal a pocket hidden from obvious view. Above it is the label "fabric hides another pocket." Next to that art are two separate options of a belt pouch above the fabric or none at all. There is a label that says "With the pouch or... without the pouch?"

Part two of Bronte outfit design stuff! Same deal. Let me know what vibes they are giving off, if any appeal to you, if you like parts of one of them!

My character Bronte in five unique outfit designs! At the top reads "Bronte Cadell" in the upper left and "Travel Outfit, Second Pass" at the top.

163

Violet Spectrum @violetspectrum.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

Aight, gang! Tell me your thoughts! Without knowing too much about the character himself, what vibes do you get from these? Which are your favorites? Do you like parts of some of them? What do you not like? I like blind vibe checking to know what a design conveys before i move forward~

Five iterations of travel outfits for a character I play named Bronte Cadell. Each one has a sense of ruggedness and someone who travels. Bronte himself has a slim figure and a long ponytail. He's a tall elf.

Three OC doodles from the Bounce House community! We've got Lilabelle from @bouncy2d, a cool sun character by @siddokuu.bsky.social, and the mage cyclops Chilly by @darklydonut.bsky.social!!

A cute girl holds up a cheesy gooey nacho with delight, stars in her eyes and a big star behind her. Below her to the left is a character with sun motifs! She's winking whole doing a flirty pose, and a star is popping out from her other hand as she snaps her fingers. The last character on the bottom right is a small cyclops ice witch girl. She's holding a book tentatively while observing a flower. She's got two long thin horns on her head and a dress that would make one think of cupcakes.

To think this was Bronte's father figure for two years and a half....

A goblin holding a dead fish in his mouth making "growling, gutteral goblin sounds". He is feral. He is shaking with excitement. His eyes are wide.

When my father made a jab at the entertainment industry being just a distraction funded by the government. As an artist of the entertainment variety, I had a lot to say in response. Keep trying to get your voices out there, fam. Don't let anyone or anything stop you from doing so.

The Owl House started out with the message "Us weirdoes and freaks and outcasts gotta stick together" and ends with the overthrowing of an extremist tyrannical dictator. That's not an accident; it's intentional.

The show starred a Dominican-American girl who winds up falling in love with another girl. They kiss on-screen. Disney tried to cancel their show. Dana Terrave tried to get 3-4 seasons for the show. Disney gave them only 3 episodes to wrap the rest of the series up. All because there was a lesbian couple. They only started to think otherwise when they saw how much money they got from the last 3 eps when they made money off of it when it aired on YouTube instead of Disney's own platforms.

Dana Terrace has since moved onto working with Glitch Productions, an Indie animation company, to create the Knights of Gwinevere.

I would hate for anyone to think I what i do as an artist in the entertainment media field is just a government funded distraction. Maybe the big corpo CEO's for companies like Disney are that breed of slime, but it's individual creators behind the scenes? Especially us INDIE creators? We are fighting to get our voices out. All. Of. The. Time.

We want to change minds on the other direction our awful regime is trying to sway us in.

That's a beautiful form of protest.

And you should all support that.

I feel like she shouldn't be allowed to be his cute. She curled up in my lap several times today for snuggles, too.

Pomni :3 I've loved Gooseworx's music for eons, and I have been huuuuugely in love with this show. Crazy I haven't ever done much fanart for TADC, but love it I do.

Bugs are very exciting for my cats. They were enamored by this Box Elder that snuck inside. (I eventually caught this bug and flung him back outside.)

Holy moly, what an incredible stream that was! Ya'll, we went on and on from so many topics ranging from what makes a good critique to how colorblindness shows up in our DNA. Huge shoutout to those of you who tossed a coin to your streamer! I'm going to make it through this week just fine 💖

Frame by frame, nearly straight ahead, hand drawn, 60 fps. I committed an animation crime.

Bronte's three younger sisters, now colorized! Bronte and his sisters are all half sun, half moon elf. Which moon phase you are born under affects how much of which elven trait shows through. Bronte is born under a new moon, Neave a half, Saoirse a crescent, and Riona a full!

092

Violet Spectrum @violetspectrum.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

Bronte's oldest sister, Neave. She's two years younger than him. I hadn't ever colored her before so i figured I'd do so now! I should do the rest of his sisters.... Maybe on stream!

Random faces!! Well, bottom right is a character of mine, but I wanted to play around with different looking faces.

Violet Spectrum @violetspectrum.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

Sorry for the repost!! I put one of the girl's feet on backwards and redid it 🫡 IT'S SO WORTH IT!! THIS TURNED OUT TOO NICE TO IGNORE BLATANT MISTAKES LIKE THAT!! It's Bronte and his friend Solas! They danced together in the campaign about a year ago and I finally drew it~

Violet Spectrum @violetspectrum.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

Hotch stickers!! They are lined!! And I finally have found a li eart brush I love... But to no one's surprise, it's a Frenden brush.

Welp... If this isn't a surefire sign my drive is corrupt... I'm currently making a USB Linux Distro to save the files, then make a new windows install on one of my other drives. Funny enough, I have anther 2TB SSD of the same model I hadn't opened yet. I'm the luckiest unlucky person to breathe.

WHOA, a lot of new followers have suddenly come about!! Hello, everybody!! It's nice to meet you! I'm currently working on finalizing these sticker designs alongside commissions, so look forward to something really STINKIN cute!! These are based on my cat, Hotch, who many worship as a lord.

I finished another commission!! It's Ser Barristan Gilder, a knight of Gelderlandt! He's actually a party member of the Fabula Ultima group I'm in! He's probably the most heroic one of the team, so I absolutely had to capture that in this piece~ @fabulaultima.bsky.social #fabulaultima
