Yeah you know this day was made for me. New fic with young Jack in the Goldenboy Krakenverse! Open (maybe bad) ending, but right now everything is easy and glimmery and sweet. archiveofourown.org/works/93842081

I've not forgotten about Suntiny, I'm just ridiculously busy rn. But don't worry, mentally I am still here.

Isn't this the premise of Suntiny? Nat just... climbing that mountain. Repeatedly.

Huh. See for me, zombies represent conformity. I've had this recurring dream since I was a kid that everyone is a zombie except me, and I have to pretend to be one too to stay safe. I think LGBTQ+ and/or neurodiverse people won't find it hard to understand what that dream is about.

I know, me too 😭 I actually started writing fic of it because it won't leave my brain.

The cat and I are experiencing great solidarity in our mutual dislike of the entire situation. But she is able to hide under the bed and I'm not, so I think my plight is worse 😅

Welcome to the middle of the night, the perfect time for my son to try to forcibly teach our cat to play the slide whistle.

Me talking about someone I've posted with on the same social media site for a long time but never actually met

Still from the television show What We Do in the Shadows showing Laszlo speaking. Text reads "he's my best friend, he's my pal. He's my homeboy, my rotten soldier. He's my sweet cheese, my good-time boy."

Introducing the central thesis of MaxNat:

Nat looking into the camera and saying "You never stop treating me like a little boy."

Between us we're licking the platter clean!

A nursery rhyme with an illustration. It reads:

Jack Sprat could eat no fat
His wife wcould eat no lean
So twixt them both they cleared the cloth
And licked the platter clean

Honestly I love it so much, I think it catapulted My Stubborn from a bad show with hot sex scenes to something that brings us all together in absolutely joyful hilarity as a fandom.

Begging the gods of BL to gimme a man I'd need to climb with a step ladder in order to smother myself in his magnificent cleavage 🙏 LORD, I SEE WHAT YOU'VE DONE FOR NAT AND I WANT THAT FOR ME

Violet Smith @violetsmith.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

This is never going to end in a Max/Nat/Fluke threesome like we all deserve, so I'm just going to imagine Max offscreen rubbing both of those boys on his face like a pile of kittens. And no one can stop me 😌

No other BL actor is giving these vibes, okay, and I'm going to need 10,000% more of it. Keep your caked-on makeup and glossy lipstick, your softly spoken barely-legal twinks, and gimme big beefy scruffy men with body hair and puffy tits. YOU COWARDS.

Max looking like an Adonis. Topless, messy damp hair, stubble.

Max stands by the sea in clingy black bathing shorts, while Gems kneels at his feet looking intimidated.

Violet Smith @violetsmith.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I know that we all have Opinions about the facial hair, but I have to speak my truth and say that hairy, slightly-letting-himself-go Max is suuuuuuper doing it for me. He has never been more Daddy.

Max's character lying on a lilo in shallow seawater. He's topless, with visible armpit hair, and stubble under his chin and over his top lip.

Get you a man who looks at you like Nat playing Max playing Sun in the body of Nuea looks at Max playing Nat playing Nuea in the body of Sun.

I don't think I can keep track of who's who at this point: small man looks hungrily up at big man.

Well I can tell you rn you're on the wrong path if you're giving Any of them abs. Folks like bellies. We like it when characters look like they been fed good, not gym bros. Make them look a little fucked up. Give the frog sunken eyes. Draw Kermit looking bleak enjoying a cig with his belly real big
