All that to say. I'm REALLY tired, like profoundly tired. I've hardly been speaking to anyone bc all this on top of my usual illnesses is SO MUCH. Hope to be back to the land of the living soon with a functional butt and some answers.

I miss y'all. (butt medical stuff below) been bleeding from my butt for ~10d. been to 2 drs +ER so far, 2 pharms, on the phone w a few nurses, got a negative CT scan 🎉, endoscopy showed 3 "RAGING hemorrhoids", prepping for a colonoscopy Tuesday, getting really good at putting medicine in my bum!

For me the whole point of doing what I'm doing-art is a way of processing life. I don't see the value in outsourcing any element of that.

When I'm looking at someone else's project, if I see an element of the environment [where] they use generative fill or whatever to change something about the scene, it just shuts off the part of my brain that wants to know more about that world. Because I would assume if they're willing to make an arbitrary choice there, they could make an arbitrary choice with literally anything.

I'm so underqualified to rate this book like I normally would, but what I can say is that I really enjoyed it as a non-history-buff! I'd be so much more into the Roman Empire if more people led with the words "erotic mime" Also the antiracism and feminism throughout were awesome #booksky

Introducing my cats took 6 months. There's genuinely no way that happened w his 1st owner from the timeline we've been given. He still gets nervous when anyone brings a bag to the front door because he understands what leaving is. It breaks. My. Heart.

My cat- adopted too young, feral, given up <1yo for not instantly getting along with another cat when they moved in w someone. 2nd owner didnt make it a month, left him in the apartment hall. I went to urgent care his 1st full day w me. Now he's my Velcro cat. All he needed was patience and love.

I've had every one-weird-trick recommended to me more than once. I drink 2-3L of water/day, take 6 pills, do mindful practices, lots of outside time, stretch when I can, take lots of breaks from physical activity...like I'm doing it all. I'm still sick. Forever. Anyone who says otherwise is a quack.

Thank you. I've had MECFS for about 17 years, and I have long since had to come to terms with the fact that while there are treatments, they're a lot of effortful, tiny improvements. There's SO MUCH quackery around this disease & people really cannot cope w the reality that it's incurable.

Funny enough, working for my psych prof both radicalized me not to do this, AND trained me to see typos/mistakes. I was helping him turn an academic paper into a widely readable book, which is how I learned a prof of 50y went to a rural one room schoolhouse & never properly learned English. (1/2)
