From 0 to Etoile in 15 days! This was my first cosplay made from scratch, and I'd never touched a sewing machine before at the start of the month. I'm really proud of myself for pulling this off and had a great time learning to make it :D

....not saying that's the sole reason they were popular.

100

ViktoryBoss @viktoryboss.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

Fair point about price being the sole point diminishing the artwork, I agree. But those shovelware games don't have good WOM. E33 did, plus it being cheaper to buy, it's not unfair to theorise more people bought it when they otherwise might not have, had it been 80, despite good WOM. He's still...

100

ViktoryBoss @viktoryboss.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

That wasnt what he was saying. He was using E33 & KCD2 as examples of games with smaller budgets/teams and thus could be sold cheaper, which is good for customers as people can't/don't want to pay 80€ in general He didn't say that was the *only* reason they were popular. But it must've helped, no?

Oh brilliant! I hope G'raha fits in the cardboard box from the Solid Snake Nendo XD
