Currently watching Pursuit of Jade and The First Jasmine. Have to mentally adjust my thoughts on which of Lin Mu Ran’s character is onscreen. Villainous Sui Yuan Qing from PoJ on the left, adorable assassin Han Ming Xi from TFJ.

Lin Mu Ran, Chinese actor in Pursuit of Jade, with a high hair top. He’s in a dark robe. He’s standing in front of an airy wall screen.

Lin Mu Ran, Chinese actor in The First Jasmine. It’s a closeup of him with a large hat that ties at his chin. He’s dressed in gray robe over a blue top.

@growlycub.bsky.social @scribblingsandy.bsky.social Did some digging on DramaWiki. Mr. Zhao was female lead’s father in Melody of Golden Age. Wanted to add Zhang Linghe was already pretty in his debut drama, Maiden Holmes. Also pretty as beloved Chang Heng in Love Between Fairy and Devil.

@growlycub.bsky.social @scribblingsandy.bsky.social It started filming a couple of days ago but we are still going to put in the vault because it involves food! Drama is called The Palace Stewardess. mydramalist.com/795192-the-p...

Four separate photos of the two main leads in a Chinese costume drama. Upper left is female in a light blue robe with a white inner top. She’s wearing a robe around her waist. She’s holy a basket of green lettuce leaves. Her hair is tied up with a white floral barrette.

Upper right is male in armor with a white robe underneath. His hair is tied up.

Bottom left is a side view of the female.

Bottom right is the side view of the male lead holding a sword in both hands.

@scribblingsandy.bsky.social Blossom is ending next week. We have to pick a new drama: 1) Si Jin 2) The Imperial Coroner S2 (would be fun to watch currently airing drama & only 28 eps) @growlycub.bsky.social

Fated Hearts is my new 2025 fave drama. At start, leads are enemies from rival nations. First few eps are brutal. He captures her & tortures her. Later, she does the same. By ep. 6, there is def shift in their relationship. @scribblingsandy.bsky.social @growlycub.bsky.social youtu.be/LQPfK28PHDY?...
