Hey, can anyone help me put a few scars on Syggironn? I tried following a guide but they just won't show up no matter what I do to try and make them appear.

Good evening. We estimate that between 4.2 and 7.6 million people turned out for the No Kings Day demonstrations held around the country on Saturday. This makes Oct 18 very likely the biggest single-day U.S. protest event since 1970. www.gelliottmorris.com/p/second-no-...

Second "No Kings Day" protests likely the largest single-day political demonstration since 1970, with 4.2-7.6 million participants

From bravewave.net/interviews/t...

Mo: Do you remember the first time you met someone who said they loved your work on Mega Man 2?

Tateishi: You’re the first, in 2013. No one else has.

Mo: Wow. I’m surprised. I don’t even have a follow-up question… how could no one come up and say something.

Tateishi: …

Mo: Now that you know how big Mega Man 2 is outside of Japan, do you look fondly back at the soundtrack?

Tateishi: Yeah, my thoughts have changed since I met you and became more aware of how people felt. But even when I was at Konami, I didn’t even bother telling anyone I did Mega Man 2. So the fact you came all the way to Japan to tell me these things makes me very happy I worked on the game all those years ago.

Gonna go even further: don't refer to it as "consuming media" when doing this. You aren't a consumer - it's not a product. You read books. You look at art. You watch movies and/or videos. Be careful about word choice. Reject "consume" and REJECT "CONTENT." IT IS ART. YOU ARE ENGAGING WITH ART.

i woke up not too long ago so i vomited my annoyances off the cuff, hopefully people are able to parse. you should do the same!!

Hello, I'm here to give input on my own concerns regarding Bluesky's upcoming TOS changes, due to take effect on October 15th, 2025.
I have been a user on Bluesky since closed beta, and I personally think that the website has some of the best self-moderation tools across social media. The ability to tag and censor your works upfront, as well as features like including tags in the metadata of a post, allows both the creator and the viewer to curate their feed to their own discretion. You are able to follow a creator for the work you enjoy and censor the work you do not, allowing the viewer to not completely alienate themselves from creators they enjoy and allowing creators to not have to stifle a part of themselves, the themes they care about, and how those themes are reflected in their work.
However, the upcoming TOS changes are largely counterproductive to that. The restriction of sensitive topics such as assault, rape, dubious consent, substance abuse, and gore demonizes these subjects in such a way that genuine victims feel further stigmatized from society and are unable to seek out help. I am sure I do not need to explain to you how the Internet can be used as a robust communication tool for vulnerable groups, seeing as the Bluesky moderation team has an existing issue with placing arbitrary restrictions on the accounts of trans women and Palestinians.

Furthermore, fictional content is, by default, consensual. The only two real-world parties whose consent matters when it comes to sharing NSFW content is the creator that made it and the viewer that's consuming it. The feelings of a fictional character do not exist in any tangible way, and therefore should not be prioritized over the feelings of real people when it comes to policymaking as you have chosen to do now.
As users on our website, we have done just fine in self-moderating our content and communities. The only time this setup fails is when obvious bad-faith actors deliberately seek to victimize us through text-based harassment, false flag reporting, and public calls for mass blocking, which I suggest you look into if your concern is about reducing the risk and effects of harassment on your platform.
If the circumstances surrounding these TOS changes do not improve, then many of us will have to seek out a new platform to host our works, as we have done many times before.
Thanks for reading.

Since the Rising Stones isn't used for much lately, I've been wanting to use some of the space as an animal shelter. Miss Tataru... Wasn't -quite- so keen with the idea, but after I showed her a lost coeurl kitten, she offered to fund the whole thing herself!
