Watching Paul Giamatti playing John Adams, defending British soldiers after the Boston Massacre, I am struck by how much better disciplined those British soldiers were than the violent, bloodthirsty thugs working for today’s ICE. The British soldiers appeared in court, whereas ICE seems immune.
