FFS! Of course they’re running a deficit. How the hell are you supposed to get an accurate ridership number when 3 out of 4 people hopping on the bus don’t pay a damn thing?! But hey, no worries. Let’s just keep writing them cheques. 🤷‍♂️ Because apparently accountability and basic math are optional.

And now you’re about to learn the difference between a Canada that’s polite, and a Canada that’s had enough. 🇨🇦

We had a concerning situation in our neighbourhood Monday night that scared my son a little. Yesterday, Cst. Watson from @ottawapolice.bsky.social stopped by to check on him and make sure he was okay. My wife and I are incredibly grateful that he took the time to show some kindness and support.

Won't do much for service and delays if CN continues to force slowdown on the tracks

End of September? Really @mark-sutcliffe.bsky.social ? Couldn't be bothered to offer this on a useful weekend in the summer when it's nice out?

I guess that's why we're losing. Mystery solved @barsans.bsky.social

Vicky @vickyp83.bsky.social · 23/05/2026

Lower ridership? It's not lower....people aren't paying fares Routes like the 12 are jammed packed at nearly all hours. And because it's not enforced, no risk of getting caught, so let's save the 4$ a ride, and ride for freeeeeeeee

So companies, in industries like gas, groceries, airlines, want to claim they are under hard time? While my grocery, gas, hydro bills have nearly doubled, to cover these "difficult times"...my pay cheque has not..this corporate math doesn't math

He missed the entire point of why we're mad. He did not behave as someone who bears the C of a Canadian hockey team. He acted shamefully after he won that gold. If he doesn't get that, maybe his crayon eating memes aren't far from the truth. Be better. @senators.bsky.social #sens #nhl #hockey

Hopefully they maintain these ones better than the ones I grew up in. Kingston was ok, but the browsing in Borden and Rockliffe was to be desired. Bagotville didn't have enough.

There are plenty available on eBay, but finishing the collection that way would cost us close to $500, and that’s just not happening. If anyone in the Ottawa area happens to have extras they’d be willing to part with, we’d love to hear from you. I’ve included the list of what we need below. (2)

During the Olympics, my wife and I started collecting the Tim Hortons hockey cards, we actually did pretty well. We’re now down to just nine cards left to complete the set. Unfortunately, they’re all Duos and Immortals, which makes them especially tough to find. (1)

Canada went after Article 5. 2001–2014. 40,000+ served. 158 killed. Kandahar. Front lines. Combat. I lost two friends. My uncle served. So when Trump says Canada “wasn’t on the front lines,” he’s disrespecting the dead. They were there. They paid the price. Don’t rewrite history. Show respect.

Vicky @vickyp83.bsky.social · 22/01/2026

But please, let's continue raising our fares, not enforce against the fare jumpers on jam packed routes ( for example the 12)...all the while diminishing service, frequency and quality.

The world has gone mad and is scary. Some of the people in it as well. This needs to happen faster. I need to relax. And need my own referral code and 25$ for each cruise I promote. Anyways. Stay sane. #SapphirePrincess @princesscruise.bsky.social

Genuinely curious and kind, I try to understand before judging. That's not quite true, I do judge, I'm just nice about it. Ok, I'm maybe not always nice, but I am funny.
