I guess my rescue is a boxer based on this 🤣

Week 1 of summer hols spent in Cornwall, mostly on the beach. I’m covered in sand. The car is full of sand. The holiday house is full of sand. I step out the shower and still find sand over my legs. The dog whimpers at the sight sand. The beach has no sand left. Time to leave Cornwall 🤣

An old pathway headed out to sea, the end is not visible beneath the water.

Half term so far: lots of baking, socialising (and gin)! Two conclusions drawn so far: homemade pizzas only from now on, and rollerskating is a young person’s game. Hope you’re getting lots of rest educators ❤️

#mathstoday my son asked me to help him learn more about gradient and we warmed up with generating coordinates. He immediately said I just have to spot the pattern and it’s like nth term. Nice link in his brain!

During a meeting today that included @sheena2907.bsky.social someone said the name Rocco and I did what any normal person would do… and apparently it’s not normal after all 🤣

Imagine learning at 3:15pm that your all day meeting doesn’t end at 3:30pm as you thought but in fact is scheduled until 4:45pm…!! Only one way to recover… I drove home in silence with the cold air on full.

Haha people always regret asking me this question when I send them every single thing I’ve ever found interesting over the past 2 years but I’ll try to reply with restraint! 1. Malcolm Swan: Dealing with classroom dilemmas which was an early chapter for a book that as far as I know, doesn’t exist

I had a marvellous time driving the biggest van I could rent for the past 24 hours, helping family with a house move. I really love being around more in the summer, and the biggest September dread comes from worrying I will no longer have the energy to give to friends and family that they deserve.

A new platform! Hi #edusky This summer has been noteworthy for the good weather, wonderful family time, and balance of productivity, work outs, and rest. Next week we head to Wembley to see Taylor Swift (eeeekkk!!!) and then I will start turning my brain back on to education ❤️
