Scared of how my upcoming dialysis treatments are going to turn out. When I did dialysis in 2007-2010, it was generally one infection after another after another…roughly one infection every two weeks. Ouch! Soooo, I am just putting the word out, that’s all (see photo).

TBT (a day early). Photo 1: my Berlioz as a small kitten, June 6, 2022. Photo 2: Berlioz’s and O’Malley’s little sister, Teddy Bear (R.I.P.), as a small kitten, in Nov. 2022. Strong family resemblance! Teddy Bear would probably be as sweet as Berlioz and O’Malley, if only she was still alive.

Little Teddy Bear (R.I.P.), in November, 2022. She was the littermate of Tabby and Cheddar, and the younger sibling of Berlioz and O’Malley. Definitely a strong family resemblance. But she was killed by a large wild animal in June of 2023. If she were still alive, she’d probably be just as sweet as Berlioz and O’Malley.

Got a photo of Berlioz playing with his favorite toy: a catnip toy that I got for our San Diego cat ranch when little Tabby was teething. It’s a pickle that says, “I’m kind of a big dill”. Adorable…though I really didn’t mean for Berlioz’s ears to get left out of the picture! I love his ears!

Red blood cell count: June 30, vs. today. Might need another blood transfusion. It dropped so much! Scary… But that explains this extreme tiredness that I can’t seem to get rid of.

The birthday cats…wherever they are. I do hope they’re okay. This is Cheddar and Tabby, who I was forced to leave behind when I brought Berlioz and O’Malley here. Cheddar and Tabby are 4 years old today, hopefully.

I have always said that Cheddar’s face is more Tiger-like than most other cats I have known.

In a rare moment, Tabby sat near my CPAP machine, and didn’t cause any trouble. Maybe because I told her that it was my birthday.

Today, these two San Diego furbabies are 4 years old…if they are still alive, that is. Happy 4th Birthday to Cheddar and Tabby, wherever they are! I had to leave them behind when Berlioz, O’Malley, and I left to come to Cleveland so the old house can be sold. I do hope Cheddar and Tabby are okay!

Good news: Berlioz is finally starting to explore the condo, and he even plays (fights) with his sister O’Malley a little. Bad news: he’s still so skittish, he runs past us very quickly (thus this action shot), hoping we didn’t see him (though I usually do). He’s making progress, though!❤️🐾❤️🐾

Our second day in beautiful Auburn Township, Ohio. Berlioz & O’Malley are still mostly hiding, though they did finally eat their dinner last night, and Berlioz found a new hiding place somewhere (inside, of course). They’ll get used to their new home. I’m already used to it, and glad to be back!

Well, I am going to be honest here. I’m now on the verge of dying, of kidney failure. My transplant of over 15 years is finally beginning to fail. Transplants don’t last forever, but the timing of my kidney failure couldn’t have been worse. So, I will put this out there.

My O’Malley and Berlioz! Cleveland-bound by the end of June, and looking forward to the move, although they may have to put me on the plane instead of me putting them on the plane. My overall health has gone down the drain since February, but I have to make this move ASAP, though I am exhausted.
