ok so priced it up at a microcenter using a vpn and damn USA prices are $3,684.91 USD I would guess that is without tax so thats more then it costs to build in australia.. things are really getting bad for hardware costs guess its a resonable deal then :|

so take what you want from this but in australia to build a pc yourself with those specs and brand new parts would cost about $3500 usd currently inc tax. It would make sense for aussies to be paying about a 500usd markup on a 3k computer so as long as its practcaly new its about current market rate
