BAMBI MEETS GODZILLA (1969) This b&w animated short student film — produced entirely by Marv Newland — is only 92 seconds long but is seen as a classic of animation and was listed #38 in the book ‘The 50 Greatest Cartoons’.

Israel wiped Gaza from the face of the earth. Everyone knew exactly what they were doing! A crime more confessed to as it happened than any other in history. A crime more documented as it happened than any other in history. There are no excuses. None at all

I literally don’t know a single woman who hasn’t been raped, stalked, groped, harassed, or sexually violated in some way at some point in their life. If you choose to doubt and dox survivors, just know every woman in your life is disgusted by you.

It has been confirmed that Gavin Bazunu has withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland squad after a "significant majority" of players voted to fulfil tomorrow's nights UEFA Nations League game with Israel. #VMSport #FAI #Israel #Nationsleague

Ireland shouldn't play Israel. It'll be a stain on our island and our history. Don't normalise genocide. #StopTheGame

Some things that Israel offcially PROHIBITS/STOPS entering Gaza: 👇 - Toys - Wedding Dresses - Cancer medication - Nappies - Babies bottles - Footballs - Crutches - Musical instruments Why? To inflict a level of dehumanisation and pain that's hard to imagine.

I just signed the petition to #stopthegame - will you add your name too? No to a change of venue. No to forcing players to play a game they don't want to play. No to sportswashing. No to bending for genocidal murderers.

If Meta AI is so great why do they need to rip off the great David Bowie in their ads? Surely they could have used their own product to come up with an instant hit.

My biggest pet hate is people who order coffees, complain that the coffee isn't hot enough, you make a new one (hotter), they wait for the coffee to get cold 🙄

A country that loves deportations shouldn't get surprised their citizens get deported from other countries 🤷🏻‍♀️

I worked with her in Dublin before she moved to Australia. Now she moved to Spain with her husband and 4 year old child and her husband had a stroke and is in ICU. They only arrived a couple of weeks ago and haven't got jobs yet, any amount will help them. gofund.me/6319cc86a

Saying that, it would be nice to have cycle paths that don't disappear or turn into bus lanes... And that people parking on or blocking the cycle lanes got actually fined for it

Vicky @vicky-stardust.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Cycling is much faster than many bus routes, and depending on traffic (that's usually terrible in this city) it's faster than driving too... As an example I cycle to work in 15min, if I take the bus to work, it takes me 45min to get there.

Myths: Speed

Many people view cycling as a very slow form of transport, but in Dublin it’s a myth that cycling is very slow compared to driving or getting the bus. Cycling compares well to other options. …

Vicky @vicky-stardust.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

It should be a requirement that people designing cycle paths need to cycle on a daily basis... The cycle paths in Dublin seem like they were designed by someone who hasn't even seen a bicycle before in their lives 🙄
