Yale New Haven Health CEO Christopher O'Connor reported the top pay package for fiscal 2025 of any hospital executive in Connecticut at $6.2 million, consisting of $4,753,996 in salary and $1,431,753 in
"fringe benefits," a combination of vested retirement pay and other benefits.
O'Connor saw a 22.1% increase in his pay package in fiscal 2025 compared to the year before, and the top 10 highest-paid executives at Yale New Haven Health saw their combined

No justice could deny that Trump’s EO violates the 1952 Act of Congress conferring citizenship on exactly the same children born in the US whose citizenship the EO tries to erase. A 9-0 decision so holding would leave Congress free to try Trump’s move if it was as racist as he is.

A bill passed the Senate last night 100-0 to fund TSA, the Coast Guard and FEMA. If Speaker Johnson called it for a vote it would pass easily. But he won’t do that. Because Trump has ordered him to keep TSA shut down and keep the chaos. Pure incompetence.

Overnight, russia launched a massive drone attack on Odesa. 21 strikes hit 18 locations, while debris from downed drones caused damage at nine more. One of the drones hit the roof of a maternity hospital. Two people were killed and 12 injured, including a 9-year-old boy.

Two local rescue dogs, abandoned in Johnson County, now part of a very familiar family!

Here’s how it happened.

The wonderful Rescue DOG & End of Life Sanctuary in Mountain City, TN took in the pair of black lab mixes and were able to get them transported to a Delaware rescue.

Well — they were adopted together by the Biden family!

“As you can see the pup on the right is staying true to Johnson County, TN character and will not sit still for the photo shoot, ready to run and play,” said Melissa Gentry, the founder of RDEOLS. “Are we excited about this adoption? Yes, but we are just as excited when our local folks adopt, like Quint Reece across the street. To us, a great home is a great home! We are thrilled for these two pups who were once abandoned on the mountain. We always tell each one, "make us proud" .. these two sure did. God speed, sweet babies!”
