It's so funny to see how in Helsinki huge parts of main roads have construction and blvds are limited to one lane each way and apparently they can't continue work in winter so it takes years to finish and no one is mad about it I'm told. "Because we know it's to improve service"

I always wonder what people in other nations think democracy and elections in New Zealand are like when I explain I go to the local supermarket to cast my vote in the local election. (I'm not even gonna get into the whole landlords get multiple votes quirk.)

I think Anora is an okay but overlong movie and not even my favourite Baker film. It's fine, it's a bad year for films and the good films aren't even in the running. But I am gonna keep urging folks who thinks this film is a positive portrayal of sex work to listen to sex workers.
