Had a bloody great time at the Black lights Festival in Blackpool. Thanks to everyone who supported and danced to my silly music

Hello friends, I've been back in the studio sifting, sorting and carving the track selections for Return to TROG. It'll probably take me most of the year but that's ok right? Album number 4 should be out in a few months too.

After using Cubase SX for the last 20 odd years I feel like having a little change and a new laptop. Anything good out there? Mac/PC not really fussed. Is the new Cubase all silly now and full of flashing lights? Will I hate it all and just switch back having spent all my money? Help I'm confused.

Found some tapes with tracks I made around 98/99 and I genuinely think it could be the worst music I've ever heard. I will probably burn them.

Brilliant mix from @vhshead.bsky.social. I've been mildly obsessed with his music since I heard Trademark Ribbons of Gold 15 years ago (Sunset Everett is possibly the finest electronic track of the last 20 years imho). Let this mix transport you to the shadow dimension soundcloud.com/vhs-head/vhs...

Time to make some silly videos with the old gear setup, all tested and working. Nice to see it's still going strong. Track preview is from the new album too. It's very nearly done.

This is my view, it's 5am and I've got a couple of hours making music before I have to get out to work in real life. I've been doing this for six months now so album 4 is nearly complete. What a life

It's that time of the year. No going outside, no work, just trapped wall to wall and surrounded by utterly rubbish tapes for the whole of January. My brain hurts already.
