Just an example, my AC was out in my car until this past weekend. I do a lot of driving on the weekends helping out a non-profit. I had to stop early when I realized despite all the water and electrolyte filled drinks I had, I stopped sweating, period. The wet bulb effect is NO joke.

I also wouldn't say they're amazing, but given I was also able to swap out the gate on each joystick for something I preferred (they have square gates, I swapped them for an octogonal one), they're fairly easy to mod. Buttons are standard size too, so you can swap them out as well.

I've a couple of 8bitdo joysticks. I had one burn out on me, but the other works fine and does work on my Switch 2. The one that burnt out on me I was able to mod into a normal PC Joystick with just a new board and cable connectors for the buttons. It was an easy install too.
