Our protagonists venture further into the town they find themselves in. Rhodes looking very dour as Olette loses her patience. She snaps at Rhodes.

O: You're creepy Rhodes!
R: Huh? What's your problem?
O: You're just so quiet when there's sooooo much to talk about!

Rhodes removes Olette from his face and the two continue their conversation. As they enter the outskirts of Caoin.

R: I don't know what to talk about. I feel like we'll get answers soon so...
O: Talk about anything else!
R: Look, just... Fine.. Give me your name.
O: Oh, that old fey trick.
Rhodes shoots her a displeased look.
R: I'm Rhodes, but you seem to know that.
O: Of course I know it! I was taught everything!

With named exchange, and still belonging to their correct owners, Rhodes reminisced about a missing sorcerer. Then snapping at Olette when she reminds him of an obligation he never asked for.

O: And I know my name! It's Olette! (Short for Olette!)
R: I just wasn't sure if summons got names. Hiktor never named any of his familiars.
O: You're bringing up this Hector guy a lot. I hope you're just friends; you're a fiance now!
(R: Hiktor. O: Whatever!!!)
R: I thought I told you I'm not marrying- Fuck it.
R: I guess speaking of... How well do you know Pearl?
O: So, I was only just born but I was taught everything I need to know! And I know everything about Pearl!
They sit in silence
R: Well?
O: Well what?

Frustrated, Rhodes gives up on the subject before laying down what he views his relationship to Olette is. A temporary one. Olette questions about the wish the festival offers. Striking a cord with Rhodes before he avoids answering it.

R: Forget it!
O: I have forgotten it!!
R: Let's get one thing straight, you're on your own after I'm out of here. This is an alliance of circumstance, okay? I'm fine with you tagging along until then.
O: What about the wish?
R: What about it? You don't need it.

Slight break from ArtFight to update one of my current char refs! Kylee had recently hit lvl. 12 in her respective campaign, and due to absorbing an artifact of untold power, she gets a new look along with it! Also the cloudy/wispy look of her hide is a side effect from her Warlock Pact!

A ref sheet of my Ixitxachitl Bard (College of Colour) / Warlock (Tempest Patron), Kylee! The manta ray-like creature has an off-white hide with a white opalescent underside, and a large, gold 8-pointed star in the center of her chest. On her shoulders is a gold swirl that runs down her shoulderblades towards her back, and each wing has three "pleats" similar to the pinfeathers of wings, each tipped with a swirl-like pattern - lavender on the outer edge, sky blue in the middle, then seafoam green on the innermost frond. Her long tail is striped with these colours in a pattern like tiger stripes, then tipped with a soft yellow, like it's glowing.

She has two "locks" of hair that stick up on her head, with a little light purple stripe running down the largest one. Around her eyes are *literal* wingtips, fashioned similar to eyeshadow and opalescent in colour. Her eyes are a sky blue, and her irises are hot pink with a golden center. Flanking her cheeks are stylized cepheliac lobes (aka, the "lobes" on a manta ray), but tipped in a "claw" like the mandible of an insect. These "claws" are purple in colour. Her cheeks are also flecked with blue freckles.

Lastly, she wears a sleeveless bomber coat that is navy blue in colour with steely blue fur accents around the neck and arm openings, which she wears as a "vest".
