Very Late Relics performed a pre-recording rehearsal session this morning in Sewanee, TN. Sounds fancy but it was just Ted and I playing music alone together in a greenhouse in the center of 1,250 acres of forested land under permanent conservation easement.

Today I sent Ted a new track to consider in the next release. Usually I wait until he’s thoroughly done with the previous song he’d received from me. I think it’s partly about clearing my headspace of both of those songs for now and letting them go before I come up with any other ideas for them.

Along with the new VLR cassette release I bought a new We Are Rewind cassette player. Of course now comes all the rewinding of old tapes. This one should be fun, an old CDBRKR tape of pre-mixes.
