Finally made it home. 15 days in the hospital felt like a lifetime. So happy to breathe fresh air and touch the sun. Life is anew.

For the record, 9/11 didn’t unite Americans. It did the exact opposite. My family & friends were being attacked for their appearance & color of their skin. 9/11 gave the green light for racists to proudly be racist again. It was a disgusting time that we are still living in. We were far from unity.

Finally turned a corner in the hospital. They took a foot of my intestines and now doing much better. Discharge in maybe a few days. Can’t wait to get home and create a soundwave.

Next out the box, the super classic Hiero Oldies tape. The Hieroglyphics crew are always dope and this had some tracks that at the time were very hard to find. It was nice to catch all these in one place and not scattered around on dubs recorded from college radio. #underground #hiphop #rap

Next out the box, this incredible DJ Q-Bert tape ‘Demolition Pumpkin Squeeze Musik’ from 1994. At the time, turntablism was like alien music speaking tongues and it felt like only the true heads knew. Music felt adventurous and sound felt limitless. #underground #hiphop #turntablism

Just found a box of classic underground hip hop tapes and thought it might be nice to start sharing. First up, Bored Stiff’s ‘Timeless’ which is truly timeless. This amazing SF crew was a Bay staple and this album still hits. This tape never left my car for years. #underground #hiphop #rap

Over at @bandcamp.com, one of my releases took all 200 of my free downloads in a few minutes time. Yet no clue where those downloads came from or if even true. Nothing comes up in plays or sources. Was it bots scouring? Was I hacked? Anyone else ever experience this? Very confusing.
